UN: 'Very fluid' situation on held peacekeepers

 UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The plight of dozens of U.N. peacekeepers in Syria remained "very, very fluid" Friday, the secretary-general's spokesman said, as talks aimed at their release stretched into a second day.

Some radio contact has been made with the 72 peacekeepers from the Philippines who have been restricted to their positions, Stephane Dujarric told reporters. Another 44 peacekeepers from Fiji remain detained.

One of the most fascinating and beautiful features in the region are the "living bridges" spanning rain-soaked valleys. For centuries, locals have been training the roots of rubber trees to grow into natural bridges, far outlasting man-made wooden structures that rot in just a few years. The bridges are self-strengthening, becoming more substantial over time, as the root systems grow. TEL AVIV, Israel — Israel launched airstrikes on the Gaza Strip after three fired from the enclave shattered a temporary truce on Tuesday. The Israeli military said it bombed targets in the Gaza Strip in response to the renewed rocket fire, adding that "yet again, terrorists breach the ceasefire."

1. Hiện tượng 

Báo chí đưa tin có đến 12 trong tổng số 13 quán quân chương trình đường lên đỉnh Olympia quyết định ở lại Úc. Đây là một tổn thất rất lớn cho dân tộc Việt Nam, bỡi lẽ “hiền tài là nguyên khí quốc gia, nguyên khí thịnh, quốc gia mạnh; nguyên khí suy quốc gia yếu hèn,…”. 

Trong thời gian qua, các cơ quan chính quyền Việt Nam cũng nhận ra vấn đề này, họ thực hiện nhiều chính sách chiêu hiền đãi sĩ, trải thảm đỏ đón nhân tài,…nhưng nhìn chung không thành công. Việt Nam vẫn không là mảnh đất lành để chim nhân tài đậu.
